Columbus Zoo

well technically i've been back since Sunday night, but didn't have time to post until now. i pretty much got my internet taken away and it is definitely killing me. might have to get a job so i can afford high-speed internet. okay nuff babble, here's what happened this weekend:

Friday afternoon, we got all ready and left to meet my sister in her hometown, Bucyrus. After an hour and a half of driving, she met us and we followed her to Ocean Buffet to eat dinner. overall it was an amazing restaurant! they had all types of sea food, and other un-sea food like dishes. i definitely enjoyed everything i tried, and i definitely recommend eating there. after that, we followed her back to town so she could show us the Richland Carousel Park. the only place in the country that makes the hand-crafted carousals. it was pretty nifty to ride a carousal for the first time in my life, but there was nothing but a lot of seniors there.

Saturday morning, we almost decided not to go to the Columbus Zoo, because of the massive amounts of rain we got, but it stopped and we decided to go anyways. it was a long ride from my sister's house to Columbus, but i love road trips. when we got there we walked around for a bit and looked at the animals. typical zoo stuff. overall, we were pretty disappointed. there is absolutely nothing special about the Columbus Zoo. i think it sucked, and we were definitely expecting more. i was extremely excited to see the "Aquarium", but when we got there, it was very small and LAME! you can see more at a pet store, not even kidding. and they monkey'ed you to death. then we drove back to my sister's house and watched fireworks at the golf course. those were pretty neato. okay onto the photos:
