Guess Who's Back

UM OK HELLO,
PT. 3

It is me... once again... here to unleash full chaotic energy amongst you here that like to visit my dearest journal from time to time (probably just myself, let's be honest). I am fully aware that the last decade here has been all over the place with inconsistent updates and missing chunks of my life. I think I just needed time to adapt, grow and figure out the direction I wanted to take with this blog (and with my art, photography and lifestyle as a whole). Final verdict? I've missed this terribly! Anyone even remotely close to me knows I've spent the last 10 years talking about how much I've wanted to come back to journal again... and now, I believe I am ready. As usual... I have tucked away all of the old posts so I can move on with a new chapter. Third (or is this the fifth?) time's the charm... let's hope.

So, what have I been up to? Well honestly, this year in particular has been one hell of a ride (and every year since 2020 actually... but I'm sure a lot of us can agree on that). There has been a lot of ups and downs, then a lot more downs... and a few more ups, a lot of happy memories and a bunch of sad ones... you catch my drift. I have picked some old hobbies back up and threw some others to the side... at least for the time being. I feel like the pieces of my life are finally lining up as if I've just finished a major transitional shift chapter. It's very scary but also kind of exciting and in exactly 8 more days I will be turning 33 which just sounds absolutely insane to me. It has been a long and bumpy road since I've turned 21 and I'm not exactly sure what's in store for me this year either but I definitely know that I wanted to start documenting it here again. For that reason, I figured it was a good time to come back to my roots. It seems like I always choose October as my "grand entrance" for goals and new beginnings. To me, it just feels like a great time of the year to usher in a new era. The air and weather feel crisper and more refreshing, my brain starts to relax from what has usually been a terribly busy and stressful summer and the fact that it's my birthday month makes it feel like it's my own personal New Year. I'm caught between feeling hopeful, content and the excitement of what's ahead. This time however, I'll try not to put too many expectations on myself.

I'm just going to try to... coast... from here on out.
